Begin each morning with an uplifting practice that combines mindful movement, meditation and breathwork. Drawing on a range of yoga traditions and movement disciplines, every class is thoughtfully adapted to the group, helping you build strength, confidence and freedom in both body and mind.
Each morning begins with an evolving practice that grows alongside the retreat. Rather than following a fixed sequence, every session is intuitively adapted to the needs, energy and experience of the group, creating a practice that feels both supportive and appropriately challenging.
With over a decade of teaching, more than 700 hours of specialist training, and almost ten years of leading retreats around the world, Megan’s approach has been shaped by a diverse range of influences, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Insight Yoga, Tai Chi, mindfulness, meditation and Buddhist psychology. Rather than teaching one fixed style, she thoughtfully weaves these disciplines together to create practices that are accessible, purposeful and responsive to the people in front of her.
There is no expectation to keep up or perform. Every practice is an invitation to explore, discover and honour your own body. With plenty of options, guidance and encouragement, you’ll be supported to move in a way that feels right for you.
Throughout the week, you’ll be encouraged to become less focused on how your practice looks and more curious about how it feels. As confidence grows, students naturally begin to move with greater trust, relying less on comparison and more on their own internal awareness. One question you’ll hear often throughout the retreat is:
“How does that feel for you?”
This simple question encourages you to become your own teacher, to listen to your body, trust its signals and move with curiosity rather than judgement.
The goal isn’t to master the pose or look like everyone else, it’s to understand your body and feel at home within it. As strength, mobility and flexibility develop, so too does confidence. Many students discover a new sense of freedom, not only in the way they move, but in the way they relate to themselves.
Each session also weaves together meditation and breathwork. Drawing primarily from Shamatha, Vipassana and guided visualisation, these practices help calm the nervous system, improve focus and deepen self-awareness. Breath becomes more than a relaxation tool, it becomes your guide, helping you recognise when to soften, when to stay, and when your body is ready to explore a little further.
By the end of the retreat, many students notice not only greater strength and flexibility, but also increased confidence, body awareness and a renewed trust in themselves. They leave with practical tools, a deeper understanding of their own practice, and the confidence to continue exploring yoga long after the retreat has ended.
My hope is that you leave not only with a stronger, more flexible body, but with a deeper trust in yourself. Because when you learn to listen to your body with kindness, curiosity and compassion, your yoga practice becomes so much more than movement, it becomes a lifelong relationship with yourself.
